New Geocell National Standard is Implemented on April 1st,2025
The latest quality national standard of geocell GB/T19274-2024 has been published on 2024-09-29 .On 2025-04-01 it is implemented.
Geocell has an unmatched engineering effects in special application with its special demensional structure.Plastic geocell is linked interlly with belt by welding,butt fusion,injection molding technologies.It has a cellular structure with square or polygonal when unfolded.The depth of geocell ,mesh size,thickness of the sheet also afect the application much.In application,different sepcification ,different materials,different node of the geocell will have different composite with the soil、sand、stone and fillers.The composite can be laid on the required position according to engineering requirements,to be used for subgrade reinforement、subgrade reinforcement、slope protection、retaining wall reinforcment.
The new standard gives the kinds of the geocell,naming,materials,requirements,specification rules and sign、packaging storage and shippment.It also gives the test method.
The standard is suitable for the plastic geocell which is woven by the sheets mainly made of HDPE、PP、PET with the necessary additives with many methods.
How to divide the geocell?
According to the raw materials of the sheet,the producing technology of the sheet,the structure of the node,the tensile strength of the the node and the original angel of the node.
1. According to the raw materials,the plastic geocell will be divided into HDPE geocell、PP geocell、PET geocell.
2. According to the production technology,the plastic geocell will be divided into extrusion geocell(E) and stretched geocell(S).
3. According to the structure of the node,the plastic geocell is divided into welding type(WC),micro-pile fusion type(WZ),Injection plastic type(IC),tenon and morise joint type(MT),circle insert type(PC).
4. According to the tensile strength of the node,WC,WZ,IC and MT can be divided into I type、 II type、III type、IV type、V type .
PC is divided into VI type and VIII type.
5. According to the preset initial angels at the nodes,the plastic geocell is divided into fixed angel and unfixed angel.
