PET Geogrid Composite Geotextile
Composite products can combine the functions of geogrids and non-woven geotextiles by bonding two products together into one composite product. There is limited testing information comparing geogrid reinforcement overlying non-woven textiles versus geogrid–geotextile composites.
It was found that the geosynthetic–geosynthetic interface had lower shear strength than the soil–geosynthetic interface.
This suggests that the use of a geogrid–geotextile composite can potentially improve soil reinforcement compared to layering a geogrid on a separate non-woven geotextile by eliminating the critical geosynthetic–geosynthetic shear plane.
Introduction:
Polyester geogrid composite geotextile is composed of polyester geogrid coated with Bitmen, PVC,SBR. and polyester nonwoven geotextile or faliment geotextile. These composite geogrid has high tensile strength in the warp and weft directions, low elongation, excellent temperature range, and good anti-aging and alkali-resistance.
Exterior of PET geogrid is coated with nontoxic substance material Bitmen, PVC,SBR for UV, acid and alkali resistance and prevents the bio-decomposition.
Feature:
High tensile strength
High tear-resistant
Strong combination with gravel and soil

Application:
This geogrid is widely introduced to the various fields of civil engineering, transportation engineering, and environment issues.
The reinforced steep slopes, reinforced retaining earth walls, reinforced embankments, reinforced abutments and piers are typical applications where geogrids are used. The resulting grid structure possesses large openings that enhance interaction with filling material.
