Project Overview
MaijiaHe Riber of Guiyang city,its riverbank slope protection uses the precast concrete segment.When it is satisfied with the safety and function of slope,the relation between water and land near shore also is intercepted,the interchange of materials between soil and water is completely cut off,the land and aquatic plants lost their habitats.The rigid and inflexible slope is incompatible with the environment and not in line with the principle of ecological civilization construction.
Regarding the precast concrete segment,we can keep the original slope protection structure.While the rigid slope is not broken and meet blood running safely in the channel,the geocell cellular confinement system flexible slope protection improves the landscape and the ecological transformation.The system uses geocell,anchor and vegetation to recover the soil layer of the slope above the normal water level and rebuid the riverbank ecosystem.
Technology Introduction
The geocell flexible slope protection technology is unfolding the high strength geocell on the slope and them fixed with the anchor.Then the soil and aggregates are filled in the cells,the flexible protection layer is made on the foundation.When the filler is soil,the cells can plant plants to acheive the dual effect of soil and water conversation and landscape greening.In a period,the slope surface will be covered by plants and enjoyable.
The geocell specification is CG100-712,welding distance is 712mm,the height of the cell is 100mm,the backfill thickness is 100mm.
Plants Furnishing
Four different plant configurations were used in different areas during construction: (1) monoculture of white clover at a rate of 15g/㎡; (2) mixed sowing of Bermuda grass, ryegrass, and tall fescue at a rate of 43g/㎡; (3) mixed sowing of various herbaceous plants including Bermuda grass, sweet vetch, white clover, alfalfa, wildflower combinations, ryegrass, and tall fescue at a rate of 45g/㎡; (4) monoculture of wildflower combinations at a rate of 5g/㎡. All four plant configurations yielded excellent results.
Re-greening effect
The time of the project construction is 2 months.The projects started in August 2019 and finished in November 2019.Then the project comes up the maintenance period.In 2020,the project was tested and transferred,it gets the best reviews of the owner and supervisor.
